Job summary

Ashby, Inc. is seeking a curious, rigorous Platform Engineer/SRE who codes to scale our infrastructure for a rapidly growing TA platform.

You’ll own end-to-end features, collaborate with product and engineering, and drive reliability and security for thousands of developers and customers. You’ll work on a homegrown DSL-to-SQL compiler, guardrails for data privacy, and deployment strategies that reduce downtime while enabling fast iteration.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable platform services and APIs.
• Comfort with infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Strong collaboration with product and eng teams to ship reliable features.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor SLOs/SILs for critical services.
• Enable canary releases, gradual rollouts, and feature flags.
• Guardrails for security and privacy of customer data.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for data workloads.
• Improve developer experience with a reliable platform.
