Ashby is seeking a curious, rigorous Platform/SRE engineer to scale infrastructure as we grow from a startup to the big leagues. You’ll own end-to-end projects and help build a secure, reliable platform that supports fast shipping for Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake.

The role blends platform engineering and SRE, with emphasis on data safety, high availability, and developer experience, including canary deploys, SLOs/SLIs, and scalable event-driven architecture.

Qualifications

Own end-to-end projects with minimal oversight.
Scale infrastructure for high-growth applications and customers.
Build secure, reliable platform features with developer-friendly UX.
Define SLOs/SLIs and implement monitoring and guardrails.

Responsibilities

Scale our homegrown platform and data pipelines for rapid growth.
Implement canary deployments, feature flags, and gradual rollouts.
Ensure security and privacy of customer data and compliance.
Collaborate with product and engineering to ship safely and fast.
Design event-driven architecture and support data warehouse needs.
