Job summary

Ashby is seeking a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to own the end-to-end infrastructure at scale in Austin, TX. You will help build a paved road for engineering teams and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable platform services.

You’ll tackle scale, security, monitoring, and incident response, implementing SLOs/SLIs and robust deployment practices to keep Ashby’s products thriving for fast-growing customers.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable infrastructure for high-availability systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with security and privacy considerations for customer data.
• Ability to design and implement monitoring, alerting and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable features for the Ashby platform end-to-end.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of critical services.
• Define and measure SLOs/SLIs and implement corresponding monitoring.
• Enable canary deployments and progressive rollout strategies to reduce risk.
• Build infrastructure to support event-driven architectures and data warehouses.
