The role demands leadership across Strategy, CSAT programs, and scalable research practices, while mentoring others and shaping the design system impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in user research and product design across complex/platform-scale products.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders through research-driven insights and compelling design presentations.
• Expert-level proficiency with design/prototyping tools (Figma or equivalent) and delivering polished artifacts for leadership.
• Strong command of qualitative research methods and ability to introduce new approaches for ambiguous problems.
• Experience building research practices, operating models, or measurement programs that scale impact beyond a single team.
• Responsible use of AI to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the research practice for Platform, setting vision, strategy, prioritization, and engagement models.
• Own and run Platform's internal CSAT program, designing surveys, cadence, analysis, and leadership reporting.
• Conduct generative, evaluative, and mixed-methods research with engineers, PMs, and customers to address platform-scale problems.
• Drive design deliverables including prototypes, interaction flows, and visual storytelling to set the standard for the product area.
• Partner with senior leaders as a cross-functional lead in strategy planning, influencing roadmaps with evidence-based research.
• Improve design consistency across the product area and contribute to design systems and research repositories.
• Coach and mentor designers and product partners on research rigor and design craft.
