About The Job

As a Senior Zone Operations and Outreach Manager, your primary focus is on implementing, collaborating, and sustaining our Retail Operations business policies, procedures, and operational and selling processes that result in driving sales and increasing efficiencies. You are also responsible for executing the internal outreach business strategy within the field organization. This role partners with regional management to source internal outreach opportunities, maximize revenue across the zone, and provide reporting and analytics to manage and drive retail operations. You must be solutions-oriented, with a strong history of successful sales results, good judgment, and strategic thinking. This position reports directly to the Director of Business Operations and Internal Outreach.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
  • Identify, secure, and manage new and potential internal outreach leads to achieve sales goals, profitability, and KPIs.
  • Lead all high school and bridal internal outreach events throughout the year.
  • Report on business operations challenges, results, and opportunities to leadership.
  • Communicate outreach strategy and collaborate on implementation with field management.
  • Monitor store performance, and partner with management to improve operations.
  • Suggest innovative ideas for revenue growth, monitor competitors, and communicate changes.
  • Stay informed on company policies and serve as first support for stores.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring | Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of retail management or multi-unit sales management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience; work experience may substitute for education.
  • Excellent communication skills adaptable to various audiences.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing obstacles and opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking for business planning and initiatives.
  • Keen knowledge of competitors’ offerings and pricing.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with store and back-office systems (POS, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.).

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to perform physical activities like stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity necessary for job tasks.
  • Regular 40-hour workweek, remote position requiring residence near a major metro area and airport in Chicago.
