Job description

Drives End User Sales Liaison Manager - Food & Beverage

Drives End User Sales Liaison Manager - Food & Beverage will foster new relationships with end users to build brand awareness and cultivate sales. Accountable for understanding VFD, industrial controls, and automation systems within Food & Beverage. The successful SLM will make inroads with end users to uncover their pain points and collaborate with their Danfoss colleagues to create tailored solutions. The SLM possesses the right combination of people skills and industry background to deliver value and excellent customer experience. You will be the primary contact for target end users, ensuring their needs are communicated back to Danfoss.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships within the Food and Beverage sector, including production, packaging, and distribution of consumable products.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service, Product Management & Development, Supply Chain, and Application Development teams.
  • Provide feedback from end users regarding Danfoss solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the vertical to build trust with customers.
  • Build sustainable cross-functional relationships to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Participate in "WIN ROOM" activities to leverage internal stakeholders for key accounts.
  • Maintain up-to-date Salesforce records on new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Channel Sales Team to find suitable solutions for customers.
Travel & Job Location

Up to 70% domestic travel with limited international travel. This role is remote, with travel within North America. Ideal candidates are located in the Midwest, Gulf, or Eastern US.

Background & Skills
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of industry experience selling to End Users, OEMs, and Integrators in Automation and Electrical Equipment, preferably with VFD background.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools; Salesforce preferred.
  • Existing network within the industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of VFD and Motion Control markets is preferred.
