Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Sprinkler Sales Representative to promote and sell fire sprinkler offerings to general contractors and end users within an assigned territory.

The role includes estimating and quoting systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities, and building new business relationships. The position requires travel to customer sites, strong communication skills, and knowledge of NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in sprinkler fire suppression is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience selling service contracts in the Fire Protection industry is required.
• Previous sprinkler design experience including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, and 20 is required.
• Knowledge of industry standard practices for service and inspection is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and develop new and existing customer accounts.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and resolve problems quickly.
• Get quotes to customers for service and follow up on impairments.
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of fire protection contracts by scheduling sales calls.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain understanding of offerings.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objective.
• Read blueprints and determine sprinkler locations for new construction and remodel projects.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
