Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive new sprinkler system contracts across diverse markets. You will bid contract work, prepare schedules, coordinate tools, and manage project personnel while tracking labor efficiency.

This role requires travel to customer sites, strong sales aptitude, and a focus on prospecting and customer service. You will participate in progress meetings and initiate change orders as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in a technical or business discipline or related in the sprinkler fire suppression business is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience selling service contracts in the Fire Protection industry is required.
• Previous sprinkler design experience including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, and 20 is required.
• Knowledge of industry standard practices for service and inspection is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and develop new and existing customer accounts.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and resolve customer problems quickly.
• Get quotes to customers for service and any follow-ups.
• Schedule sales calls, follow up on leads, and pursue outline marketing strategies.
• Develop a sales strategy to understand customer needs and company offerings.
• Close enough sales to exceed the sales plan objective.
• Read architectural and mechanical drawings and determine sprinkler locations for new construction/remodels.
• Build and grow relationships with customers, contractors, and end users.
• Work with branch personnel to ensure great customer service from order to delivery.
• Perform customer surveys as required/requested.
• Develop and maintain vendor relations.
