Job summary

VALD is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive field sales across a defined U.S. territory. You will meet clients, perform product demonstrations, and build lasting relationships to expand VALD's presence in clinical, performance, and tactical settings.

The role requires a sports-performance background, strong communication, and comfort with a full-cycle sales process. Travel about 50% of the time, with expenses reimbursed and access to company equipment for demos.

Qualifications

• Background in sports performance disciplines (ATC, S&C, Exercise Science, or similar).
• New graduates welcome; 2+ years field experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills across in-person, video, and written formats.
• Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in the field meeting clients and performing product demonstrations.
• Develop relationships across the assigned territory and own the sales process.
• Manage a defined territory with a full-cycle sales approach in partnership with Contracts and Client Success.
• Accurately manage pipeline activity using CRM tools (HubSpot a plus).
• Travel approximately 50% regionally with occasional overnight stays.
