Job summary

VALD is seeking a Health-professional-turned-field sales expert to own a defined territory as a Business Development Manager. You’ll perform product demonstrations, build relationships with clinicians and performance professionals, and drive client trials across the assigned region.

This field-sales role requires travel, strong communication, and the ability to prospect and close opportunities while leveraging VALD’s measurement technologies.

Qualifications

• Allied health or performance background; 2+ years field experience preferred.
• Strong communication across in-person, virtual, and written formats.
• Comfort with cold prospecting and building relationships with professionals.
• Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a defined sales territory.
• Self-generate a sales pipeline via outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities.
• Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations; oversee client trials.
• Manage full-cycle sales with Contracts and Client Success teams.
• Hit monthly and quarterly quota targets based on systems sold.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in CRM (HubSpot a plus).
• Represent VALD at conferences and industry events.
