Job summary

TenCate seeks a Business Development Manager to grow revenue across multiple U.S. markets in sports construction and synthetic turf, managing the sales lifecycle from identification to execution.

You will collaborate with estimating, operations, and leadership to craft competitive solutions and move opportunities to award. The role requires proven sales experience in the sports market, strong relationship-building with schools, universities, and municipalities, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Established sales experience in sports construction, athletic facilities, or related markets.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business across a territory.
• Strong relationships with decision-makers in schools, universities, and municipalities.
• Experience managing the sales lifecycle from discovery to award and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within an assigned geographic territory.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new projects across sports construction and related solutions.
• Build strong relationships with schools, universities, municipalities, architects, and contractors.
• Conduct in-person sales calls, site visits, and value-based selling conversations.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and provide updates on opportunities and expected close timing.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, Marketing, and leadership to develop competitive solutions.
