Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for Sales Performance Management to design end‑to‑end SPM solutions spanning compensation, planning, territory, and enablement.

You will lead discovery, define the functional architecture, and drive delivery across Salesforce Maps, Planning, Spiff, and related programs. You will work with Senior Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and product teams to ensure scalable, long‑term solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, designing, or consulting on SPM/ICM or related sales tech solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across the SPM domain and cross‑product solution design on Salesforce.
• Ability to translate business strategy into well‑architected solutions and strong analytical skills.
• Advanced ability to model incentive and planning logic in formulas or Excel and in the platform.
• Understanding of data modeling and data quality to partner with Technical Architects.
• Executive‑level communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define the SPM solution vision, roadmap, deliverables, and expectations with stakeholders.
• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect end‑to‑end solutions across the SPM suite.
• Translate requirements into a well‑architected Salesforce solution with scope for growth.
• Own functional design and configuration leadership across the SPM tools (Salesforce Maps, Planning, Spiff, Programs, ETM).
• Apply AI/Agentforce capabilities to accelerate delivery and value realization.
• Define blueprints, best practices, and governance of solution scope and quality.
• Coordinate with Technical Architects on integrations, data, and custom development.
• Mentor teammates and promote reusable assets and standards.
• Advise customers on SPM operating models and adoption strategies.
• Contribute to proposals, staffing plans, and SOWs; support pre‑sales activities.
