Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end Sales Performance Management solutions. You will work across the SPM portfolio, translating a customer''s strategy into scalable, well-architected designs using Salesforce Maps, Planning, Spiff, and Territory Management.

This is a hands-on, billable role reporting to the Specialized Services organization within Professional Services. You will mentor teammates, drive discovery workshops, and align with product teams to

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Sales Performance Management or related sales tech solutions.
• Strong functional expertise in compensation, planning, territory, and enablement.
• Ability to translate business strategy into well-architected Salesforce solutions.
• Advanced modeling of incentive, compensation and planning logic.
• Data modeling knowledge and collaboration with technical architects.
• Executive-level oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to scope and manage work packages and assist pre-sales qualification.
• Experience mentoring team members and guiding peers.
• Based in the US or Canada with willingness to travel regionally.
• Degree or equivalent experience; professional credentials welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define the SPM vision, roadmap, and expectations.
• Lead discovery, workshops, and document end-to-end functional solutions across SPM suite.
• Translate requirements into a well-architected Salesforce solution.
• Own functional design and configuration leadership across SPM tools including Maps, Planning, Spiff, Programs, and Territory Management.
• Apply AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery and value realization.
• Define design standards, governance, and solution blueprint; ensure quality.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects on integrations and data alignment.
• Mentor team members and champion reusable assets and standards.
• Advise customers on operating models, adoption, and best practices.
• Contribute to proposals, staffing, and SOWs; support pre-sales activities and POC work.
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams during implementations and maintain billable utilization.
