Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive volume and distribution for our brands with on-premise and off-premise accounts. You will craft growth solutions, lead distributors, and collaborate across teams to hit KPI targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 1 year in field sales within alcohol/CPG, strong data analytics, and willingness to travel within the territory. A valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results and identify trends.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel within territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share.
• Build brands by educating customers and solving challenges.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs delivering distribution, merchandising, display, and promotions.
• Develop rapport with customers by understanding their needs and requirements.
• Act as communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
