Job summary

Sazerac seeks a Market Development Representative to drive growth in assigned on‑premise accounts and to expand brand presence across the territory. You will work with distributors and retailers to increase distribution, share of shelf, and in-store execution.

You will use sales analytics to inform strategies, build customer relationships, and coordinate cross‑functional efforts to meet KPI targets, while flexibly working evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries. Internships or entry-level sales experience acceptable for new graduates.
• Demonstrated sales results and ability to hit distribution and promotional goals.
• Technical savviness with sales data analytics tools to drive results and identify trends.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel within a territory.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to grow assigned accounts and boost brand performance.
• Build brands by educating customers and driving distribution and in-store execution.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Develop and implement programs delivering on distribution, merchandising, and promotional goals.
• Develop rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Coordinate communication between customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
