Job summary

Sazerac seeks a Market Development Representative to drive volume and distribution across our on-premise and off-premise accounts in the assigned territory. You’ll build solutions, lead distributor execution, and use data to grow brand share.

This role requires a year of field sales in alcohol or CPG, a bachelor’s degree, mobility, and willingness to travel. You’ll collaborate with wholesalers and customers to meet KPI targets and expand market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG.
• Proven results in achieving volume and distribution goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel.
• Flexible to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Live in or near the territory and prepared to cover expenses upfront when required.
• Compliance: ability to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions for growth to boost brand share in assigned accounts.
• Drive brand building by leveraging consumer and category trends.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and execution.
• Support volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs delivering on distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Develop mutually valuable rapport with customers and wholesalers.
• Communicate effectively as the liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure achievement of goals.
