Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth for our brands in an assigned territory. You will build relationships with off-premise accounts, implement growth programs, and lead distributor collaboration to expand market share.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), at least one year in field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG, and the ability to travel. Flexibility for non-traditional hours and a valid driver’s license are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG; new grads may have internship or sales experience.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to meet distribution and retail promo goals.
• Technical Savvy: Use of sales data analytics/tools to drive results and identify trends.
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Craft growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost brand share.
• Lead distributor in-store selling, marketing and execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands across the portfolio.
• Design and execute programs for distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Build rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Serve as communication lead between customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are reached.
