Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth in grocery, convenience, and liquor stores across an assigned territory. You will lead initiatives to expand distribution, enhance brand presence, and partner with distributors to achieve volume targets for our diverse spirits portfolio.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 1 year of field sales in alcohol or CPG, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales in alcohol-beverage or CPG.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to meet distribution goals.
• Technical Savvy: Experience using sales data analytics/tools to drive results.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility for evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Willing to cover expenses reimbursable later.
• Compliance: Able to obtain a solicitor’s permit as required.

Responsibilities

• Connect with grocery, convenience, and liquor stores to hit sales goals.
• Craft growth solutions to expand distribution and market share.
• Build brands by using consumer and category insights.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and execution.
• Support volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Execute programs delivering distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Develop strong rapport with customers and understand needs.
• Serve as the communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
