Job summary

Sazerac seeks a Market Development Representative to drive growth in the New York Territory, including Ithaca. You will partner with off-premise retailers to expand brand share and execute distributor programs across our diverse spirits portfolio.

The role requires 1 year of field sales experience in alcohol/CPG, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for evenings and weekends. Live near the territory and contribute to a high-performance sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Results-driven with ability to deliver on distribution and promotional goals.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost growth for assigned accounts and increase market share.
• Build brand value by leveraging consumer trends and category insights.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs focused on distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Develop strong rapport with customers by understanding their needs.
