Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth with on-premise and off-premise accounts across our diverse spirits portfolio. You will lead growth initiatives, educate customers, and collaborate with distributors to achieve distribution and volume goals.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year in field sales within alcohol-beverage or CPG, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and readiness to travel within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; new graduates may apply with internships or sales-related experience.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and promotional goals.
• Technical Savvy: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Crafting Solutions for Growth: implement and manage solutions to boost business for assigned accounts.
• Brand Building: use trends to educate customers and grow brand share.
• Distribution: lead distributors with in-store selling and account execution.
• Volume Objectives: help achieve core brand volume goals across portfolio.
• Strategic Programs: implement programs for distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Rapport Building: develop mutually valuable relationships with customers.
• Communication & Collaboration: be the primary communication link between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• KPI Monitoring: track KPIs to ensure goals are met.
