Job summary

Sazerac invites you to join our Market Development team in the Chicago area. As a Market Development Representative, you’ll partner with off‑premise accounts to grow volume and distribution for our brands across a diverse spirits portfolio in your territory.

You’ll craft growth solutions, drive in‑store execution with distributors, and lead programs to deliver on distribution, merchandising, and promotions. Strong communication with customers, wholesalers, and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotions.
• Technical Savvy: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results.
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility for evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Able to cover ordinary business expenses that will be reimbursed.
• Compliance: Must obtain solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Crafting Growth Solutions for assigned accounts to boost brand share.
• Brand Building: educate customers using trends to grow sales.
• Distribution: Lead distributors with in-store selling and execution.
• Volume Objectives: Help achieve core brand volume targets.
• Strategic Programs: Implement programs for distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Rapport Building: Develop relationships with customers and understand needs.
• Communication & Collaboration: Act as liaison between customers, wholesalers and internal teams.
• KPI Monitoring: Track KPIs to ensure goals are met.
