Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a related field.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with IDFPR or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients of all ages and develops a plan of care with measurable goals.
• Conducts speech and language pathology assessments using appropriate materials.
• Educates patients and caregivers on home programs and activities; coordinates with related disciplines.
• Completes daily documentation and participates in continuing education for stroke care.
