Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a clinical resource for staff and students. Required are a Master’s degree in a related field and an active SLP license, with BLS within 30 days and ongoing CE for acute stroke care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field required.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eligible/in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages using SLP procedures.
• Conduct assessment procedures and select appropriate measures.
• Develop and implement a plan of care with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other professionals in planning and intervention.
