Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. The role involves comprehensive assessment, care planning, and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Applicants must hold an active SLP license and complete required BLS within 30 days, plus ongoing continuing education for acute stroke care. This is a full-time, on-site position with Carle Health’s supportive care environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or related field).
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Complete required continuing education for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Collects case history information and integrates information from patients, family, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Conducts assessment procedures for speech and language pathology.
• Develops and implements a setting-appropriate care plan with measurable goals.
• Interprets and synthesizes information to develop a treatment plan and recommendations.
