Job summary

Evan Terrace Post Acute is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and the care team. You will document services in medical records and contribute to care planning and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, supervising CFY or students, providing staff training, and ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting safe, patient-centered care for residents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license and continuing education.
• Proficiency with relevant EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFY – Speech Clinical Fellows and students when applicable.
• Document accurately and communicate progress with families and the care team.
