Job summary

Lakeview Post Acute is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, create treatment plans, and document services in medical records. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to support communication and swallowing goals.

Responsibilities include supervising CFY or students, providing in-services, and ensuring compliance with state licensing and facility policies while maintaining infection control and safe resident care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; advanced degrees preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; maintain licensure per state requirements.
• Experience with Net Health and Point Click Care systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY and students in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, and families.
