Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read technical procedures and policies.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for patient data and outcomes.
• Excellent communication with managers, staff, residents and families.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Therapist and ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans to physicians and families.
• Complete timely, compliant documentation in medical records.
