Job summary

CascadeTerrace is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, coordinate with physicians and families, and maintain documentation in the medical records. You will develop and update individualized treatment plans, supervise CFYs or students, and contribute to quality assurance and staff training in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ( Masters/Doctorate preferred ).
• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state; current license in good standing.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs as per physician orders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallow function.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students as applicable.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families about progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment.
• Educate residents and families on goals, home programs and safety techniques.
