Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
• Continuing education requirements per state practices
• CPR certification if required by licensure

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY – Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Provide in-services on training programs for staff.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with requirements.
