Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities. The role includes scheduling supervision with a supervising SLP and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient goals.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Texas SLPA license, has 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics, and a preference for home health experience. Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by achieving new and different requests and adding value to job accomplishments.
