Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our pediatric-focused team. You will provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities under supervision and collaborate with other disciplines to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Texas SLPA licensure required.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides home visits to patients or daytime facility visits.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Maintains knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional networks.

• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
