Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Garland, TX is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide skilled pediatric speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facility, following physician orders.

Requirements include current Texas SLPA licensure, 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics; home health experience preferred; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patient's home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by educational opportunities and professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by ownership of new requests and value addition.
