Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, following physician orders and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires current Texas SLPA licensure, 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics, and home health experience preferred; bilingual is preferred but not required. Full-time employees receive comprehensive benefits and professional support.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
