Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to represent our portfolio with key customers across the United States. This remote role focuses on building deep clinical relationships, growing market share, and driving the adoption of our specialty therapies through strategic planning and compliant execution.

Ideal candidates bring a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, especially in Urology, with 2+ years of experience, strong market-analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; 2+ years pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven, top-ranked sales performance (top 25% nationwide).
• Experience in Urology and with a pharmaceutical launch.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, including pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep, meaningful relationships with customers based on clinical and market expertise.
• Increase market share by closing new business in existing and new accounts.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise, compliant planning, and resource use.
• Assess product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate candidly.
• Travel is required across the territory; overnight stays and some weekends may be needed.
