Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to be the face of SMPA to customers.

You will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, growing market share, and maintaining clinical knowledge to support outcomes in oncology, urology, women’s health, rare diseases, CNS and cell & gene therapies. The role requires extensive travel (60–80%), with overnight stays and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related area with two or more years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep and meaningful business relationships based on clinical and market dynamic expertise.
• Increase market share by closing new business in new and existing accounts prioritized on market potential.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and understanding of the healthcare landscape, planning, and compliant action.
• Assess and analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Travel throughout the territory is required; overnight stays may be needed, including weekends.
