Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to be the face of SMPA to customers in the assigned region.

You will drive sales objectives, grow market share, and leverage clinical and market insights to build deep, durable relationships with physicians, hospitals, and purchasing teams. This role requires 60–80% travel, the ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment, and a proven pharma sales track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area.
• Two+ years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience in Urology and with a pharmaceutical launch.
• Knowledge of formulary positioning and market access.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep and meaningful business relationships based on clinical and market dynamics.
• Increase market share by closing new business in both new and existing accounts prioritized on market potential.
• Provide exceptional clinical expertise and understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape; plan and act compliantly.
• Assess and analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate and provide candid, constructive communication with team members.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required, including weekends.
