Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to drive brand strategy, optimize territory performance and deliver key KPIs. You will build strong customer relationships, execute strategic call plans and prioritize patient-centered outcomes within AbbVie’s ethical and regulatory standards.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, stay informed on disease states and product knowledge, and travel within the primary city radius to maximize short- and long-term sales results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or equivalent industry experience required.
• Five (5) years of experience in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred with three (3)+ years in sales.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs and financial targets for the assigned territory.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve sales performance and close calls.
• Develop strong customer relationships and solve customer needs for win-win agreements.
• Execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities with key customers.
• Share market intelligence on territory landscape, competitors, and disease areas with in-field teams and Brand Team.
