Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Sales role in the New York area. You will execute brand strategy, manage territory, and build strong customer relationships to maximize short- and long-term sales performance, placing the patient at the center of AbbVie's code of conduct and policies.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in health/science/pharmacy/business and 5+ years in sales, with 3+ years in pharma; strong communication and strategic selling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• At least five years of experience with three+ years in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approaches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet/exceed KPIs and objectives.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve performance.
• Develop call plans to maximize access and sales opportunities with key customers.
• Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition to health providers and develop disease-state experts to support sales.
