Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based sales professional to execute brand strategy and drive territory performance. You will manage accounts, build strong relationships, and place the patient at the center of AbbVie’s initiatives while complying with all policies and regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in pharmaceutical sales, with the ability to plan calls, overcome objections, and develop strategic plans to maximize access and results across assigned territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant industry experience required.
• At least five years in sales with three+ years in pharma/health industry preferred.
• Ability to identify customer style and adapt selling approach.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with evidence of sales success.
• Knowledge of AbbVie’s therapeutic areas and industry regulations encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet KPIs and financial targets.
• Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and evaluate post-call results.
• Develop trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs.
• Execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence with in-field teams to align brand strategy.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers.
