Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate payer environments in a dynamic territory that includes Reno, Elk Grove, Roseville, Sparks and surrounding areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR
• Associate degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare
• High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals
• Speak to clinical benefits and drive appropriate utilization of products
• Deliver branded sales messages and participate in planned programs
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts and ensure product access
• Resolve/triage reimbursement issues and maintain product contracts
• Contribute to territory plans with the District Manager
• Share best practices and collaborate with colleagues
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle
