Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to be the primary contact with medical professionals, promoting Amgen products and navigating payer environments.

The role reports to the District Manager and requires building strong customer relationships, delivering effective sales programs, and achieving sales targets in assigned territories across Reno, Elk Grove, Roseville, Sparks, and Carson City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or healthcare field experience; or Associate degree with 6 years of sales/healthcare experience; or High school diploma with 8 years in sales/healthcare.
• Preferred: Sales/clinical experience in pharma/biotech/diagnostics/healthcare industries; local market knowledge; Life Sciences or Business degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals.
• Drive territory sales by delivering branded messages and conducting programs.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Maintain brand integrity and ethical standards while supporting patients.
