Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, communicate clinical benefits, and promote Amgen products across assigned territories. You will navigate the payer environment and drive branded messaging through in-person and virtual programs.

The role requires a degree with relevant sales or healthcare experience and offers flexible remote/hybrid work options where possible. Territory coverage includes multiple locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior role requires degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Preferred: sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharma/biotech/healthcare industries

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge Of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages and conducting programs
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including discussion customization and understanding customer needs
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn
• Demonstrate passion for our products through the sales cycle and maintain brand focus to serve patients
