Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate payer dynamics. You will implement marketing strategy, drive territory sales, and engage in both in-person and virtual programs.

The role emphasizes building relationships, understanding patient access, and achieving sales targets across a California-based territory with remote/hybrid work options where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate degree with 4+ years Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Clinical healthcare experience in sales or related field is preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals
• Lead territory sales efforts and deliver branded messages to achieve targets
• Develop relationships to manage accounts, ensure product access, and address reimbursement issues
• Relay feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans to the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role
• Maintain passion for products and brand throughout the sales cycle
