Job summary

S&ME Inc. invites students to join the 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program in Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering. The twelve-week internship runs May 2027 through August 2027, offering hands-on experience, mentorship from professional-owners, and exposure to multiple service lines nationwide.

Open to current students, with competitive pay based on experience. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required.
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.
