Job summary

S&ME, Inc. invites students to join the 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program across Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering. You will work with experienced employee-owners and be part of a cohort, gaining hands-on exposure to projects and company processes.

Open to rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students; travel and outdoor work may be required; housing is not provided; visa assistance not offered. May–August 2027, twelve weeks, competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required.
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn from experienced professionals and technical employee-owners within your area of interest.
• Be part of an intern cohort and learn all aspects of S&ME.
• Gain hands-on experience and professional development to help transition from campus to career.
