Job summary

S&ME is a leading, employee-owned engineering firm offering a 2027 Spark Summer Internship in Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering. The twelve-week program runs May 2027–August 2027 and provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to multiple service lines.

Participants will work with professional staff, learn about company operations, and gain professional development opportunities. Travel may be required; housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Grad students preferred.
• Related campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required;

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced professional and technical staff within your area of interest.
• Learn about all aspects of S&ME and the internship program.
• Join an intern cohort and participate in professional development activities.
