Athletico in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

Reporting to the Clinic Manager and collaborating with clinical teams, the PEC will greet patients, verify demographics and eligibility, educate on financial responsibilities, collect payments, and use EMR dashboards to drive improvements in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience required.
• Healthcare administration experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accuracy.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows and provider availability.
• Monitor registration accuracy and patient satisfaction KPIs.
• Coordinate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations on issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources.
