Job summary

Constellation Health Services seeks a Behavioral Technician to deliver ABA-based instruction and behavior reduction interventions for children with Autism and related developmental disabilities. The role involves direct 1:1 and group instruction across home, clinic, school, and community settings under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress documentation, and parent/caregiver training to support individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services and 1 year of direct relevant experience with youth and families.
• Associate’s degree and 2 years of direct relevant experience with youth and families.
• Strong organization and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under BCBA supervision.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior with children on caseload.
• Communicates effectively with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provides accurate documentation of intervention, goals and objectives.
• Facilitates transitions among agencies and programs as services change.
• Identifies emergency situations and ensures child safety.
• Direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Assists with parent and caregiver training as per treatment protocols.
