Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support avionics devices and harnesses, building and maintaining BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing plans for flight hardware. You will drive schedules, coordinate tooling, and collaborate with suppliers to meet program delivery goals.

Qualifications

• HS/GED/Equiv required.
• Hardware manufacturing experience across avionics, structures, or related systems.
• Ability to create manufacturing work instructions for fabrication and assembly.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and avionics schematics.
• Familiarity with GD&T and industry standards (IEC/IPC).
• Willingness to work B shift and collaborate across teams.
• Experience with supplier coordination and lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing of avionics devices and harnesses.
• Develop and maintain mBOM, work instructions, and routing documents.
• Manage a complex production schedule to support multiple programs.
• Lead cell-level manufacturing plans, BOMs, and tool lists.
• Review supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Develop tooling requirements and initiate tooling orders.
• Perform root-cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation pedigree for flight avionics hardware.
• Support shipside activities and cross-functional training.
