Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support the machine shop and spin forming teams on Space Coast, FL. The role involves developing work instructions, coordinating fabrication and assembly, and ensuring quality across the build and test process.

Qualifications include 3+ years in manufacturing planning, strong CAD/GS&T knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across large geographies. Relocation is available; on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Highschool, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years direct manufacturing planning or manufacturing build support experience.
• Hardware manufacturing experience with structures, fluid systems, mechanical systems, or avionics systems, including assembly, integration, instrumentation, cleaning, non-destructive testing, leak testing, machining, welding, surface coatings, harness/cable routings, or composite structures.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions to clearly define fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment processes.
• Understand CNC Machining processes and related fabrication equipment/fixturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sequence manufacturing activities for complex hardware.
• Review manufacturing drawings and provide final approval.
• Define repair and rework activities and deploy corrective actions.
• Manage material handling and packaging to protect hardware through build and test.
